WebTrack ePrints

WebTrack ePrints utilize a simple Web Interface that allows you to monitor interaction with your content. And, using the Sheridan Alert System, you can alert your clients when their ePrint is about to expire.

WebTrack ePrints feature the following standard security options, metered through database control:

• Secure the number of times an ePrint can be opened and viewed
• Secure the prints permitted
• Set the length of time an ePrint is available for viewing
• Determine the number of users able to view the ePrint
• Sheridan ePrints are always secured against accidental or intentional alterations

 

Internet access is required each time the ePrint is opened. A sophisticated web-tracking interface is available with this model to give the publisher valuable information such as ePrint usage history. All activity is displayed in real-time and specific usage parameters can be built in. Additionally, multiple alert mechanisms are available – such as expiration, reorder, and usage threshold alerts. Requires a certified plug-in to be installed on purchaser’s system.

Adobe Acrobat Secured ePrints

A native PDF that is supported on both Mac and PC platforms; no plug-in is required.

This ePrint uses standard Adobe Acrobat security. It is master password-protected, securing the ePrint against any unauthorized document alterations. For added security, a watermark can be added, which would be visible only on the printed ePrint.
